Quality Mission Statement
"The principal mission of Diamond Metal Products is to provide our customers with a top quality product and on time delivery."

Success for any organization requires pleasing the customer, for without customers an enterprise cannot exist.  Quality Control refers to the process in manufacturing of monitoring the quality of finished products throughout the process, and an overall commitment to produce defect-free products.  The word quality has come to represent the idea of satisfying the customer with highly organized records and/or procedures for every stage of the process.  To exceed a customer's expectations requires that products perform the function for which they are brought to us to manufacture.

In the 1950's W. Edward Deming "Fourteen Points" came into common use .  With post-war manufacturing returning to normal, Deming preached that inspecting products after manufacturing was unacceptable.  Instead he proposed a process known as "statistical quality control" that would use measures to gauge quality during manufacturing.  Since that time, quality control has become a dynamic force in the business world.  With changes regarding RoHS, forms to fill out like the Certificates of Conformance, Material, Finish  and Hardware Certificates, First Article of Inspections and so forth, the Inspection Department is in constant motion.

Use of ISO Standards enables us to evaluate our own level of organization and, if required, change them for the better.  Our company is ISO Compliant and follows the ISO Standard.  As a quality company, we must not only exceed our customer's expectations, we must also exceed our own expectations.  Inspection is an integral part of every job.  We require sample inspections during the production run with quality assurance inspections after each process.  Every part leaving this facility has a final inspection.
